Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, everyone! How are things going? What are you up to? Anything you want to share? Do so in the comments section. I'd love to hear all about it.

Saturday I was back in Montreal but this time the most amazing man in the world accompanied me. My best friend and her husband had us over for dinner, the dinner we had planned on getting together for last weekend that had to be canceled due to unfortunate events. But all is well now and we had a chance to spend some time together. The food was amazing, the company even more so!

Today is going to be wonderfully sunny and mild! Spring is on its way and I couldn't be happier. I can't wait till it's warm enough for us to get on our bikes and start exploring our area and the surrounding towns and cities. And taking lots of pictures!

Right now, let's laugh, shall we? Here we go...

Have a great day!

And yes it's very Spring like here in the UK today, but apparently rain is on it's way.

  10. Hi Martha,I can’t believe how fast time is going. It’ll be Christmas before you know it. I only drink water nowadays.it’s a bit boring I know. The tea and coffee is awful. I blame the stroke for my obsessions. I never used to be this geeky. I don’t remember what it’s like.i wish I did. Being geeky is how I like to be.Being on my own so much is what i blame it on. There is something wrong with everybody at the home where i live so why should I be any different?

    1. There's nothing wrong with being geeky! And drinking water. That's a regular beverage for me.

    1. It was a great time. These are very old friends and we have fun when we get together. Our day temperatures have been mild but it still gets cold at night. I'm looking forward to when the weather is nice all around.

  12. Right now it's still rather cold for us in "spring". Though I suppose in Canada, the first sign of spring is a snowbank slowly melting. I'm still wearing my jacket until spring has sprung

    1. That is right. Here, we are now seeing the snowbanks melting. But that's okay. It's a good start.

  13. I love these, especially the McDonald's one - in NS we have plenty of Mc's and Mac's from Scottish immigration and this just tickles my funnybone :)

I hope your spring continues to progress and you are able to get out and about. It makes such a difference to a person's mood!

    1. It does, doesn't it? This is my favourite season, so I'm already feeling better. But I'll be in tip top shape when the weather warms up enough for us to shed all the winter gear!

  14. Your photos and artwork always bring a smile, so either way, I'll enjoy. I'm so glad your friend's dad is okay and that you got to spend some time. Enjoy the weekend.
