Be Back Soon

A couple of weeks ago I caught a cold and not only suffered from a very sore throat but I also lost my voice. I got myself checked and it turned out to be a virus that would require patience while it ran its course. During that period I got plenty of rest and tried to ease some of my symptoms. Slowly, ever so slowly, I began to recover and my voice resurfaced.

During that period, I decided to take a break from blogging and concentrate on healing. I did visit your blogs regularly but didn't leave any comments. I wanted to stay in touch and see what's going on with you, but be in and out as quickly as possible.

Now that I'm almost completely back to normal, I've decided to put this blog on ice. For how long? I don't know. I just need a break from it. I'll continue my other blogs, and I will continue to visit and comment on yours, but I need to step away from this one until I feel motivated enough to get back into it.

So I'll see you here in the future!

Question Of The Day

I don't. This doesn't mean I forget, it just means that I don't want to be an emotional hostage to someone who has wronged me or to some experience that is painful. Plus, I don't want to carry around baggage from the past that interferes with the present.

Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, blogging pals! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We drove to Ottawa Saturday evening to take my younger daughter's cat home. And even though she'd been with us for a little over a month, Obi eased back into her place as if she'd never been gone. It was a happy reunion.

We all went for coffee while there, and my daughter and her boyfriend said the trip to southeast Asia was amazing. They'd just returned home that day and they were both tired, so we kept the visit short. We'll visit on another day and see some of their photos. In the meantime, I'm sure my daughter will share information and images on her blog and on her Instagram account.

I miss having Obi here with us but I'm happy she's back with her mama. At least I have some nice photos from her stay with us, like this one:

Other than that, outdoor chores have kept us busy. But that won't be going on today since it's raining outside. What have you been up to?
