If you ever feel the need to share with someone where you've hidden the body, I am your person. My lips are sealed and I will take your secret to the grave. *snort*
Yes I am good at keeping secrets, but if it is something potentially harmful to another person then of course not and I tell the person telling me the secret that I can't keep it (make sense?)
For some reason, people like to confess things to me they feel guilty about and want off their chest. I don't judge and keep their secrets. BUT, there was a time someone was about to confess something to me I knew wasn't safe for me to know, so I told them "Don't tell me anything".
HAHA! A little snorting is good for our health :) And I totally agree with that way for secrets. I couldn't keep it a secret if it meant someone would get hurt.
Nice to see you back!
ReplyDeleteIt depends on the secret. If it's serious, yes, if it's superficial I may tell my partner. Oops.
Nice to see you here! Superficial secrets wouldn't really hurt anyone, so I guess that would be okay.

ReplyDeletebetty
Yes, makes perfect sense! There are times when we have to say something if there is possible risk or harm to another.
DeleteI like to think I'm good at keeping a secret. But say, did you hear that . . . ?
ReplyDeleteI'll just lean in a little closer... 😊

ReplyDeleteThat's the best way I would handle that! Sometimes it's best not to know.
DeleteI can for the most part.
ReplyDeleteThat is good!
DeleteWorking in healthcare has taught me the importance of confidentiality. So, yes. I can and do.
ReplyDeleteThat would certainly do it!
DeleteConfidentiality is important!
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
It sure is, Jan.
Deleteon a scale of 1 to 10 i would be a 9.5. Once in awhile I slip up.
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty good number to be at!
DeleteI saw Area 51 and I haven't told anyone yet.
ReplyDeletewhoops
DeleteLOL And that's the end of that secret... 😊
DeleteSince I was a teacher there were certain things that just had to be left confidential. Yes , I can keep a secret but I don't pass on much else.
ReplyDeleteThat makes sense! And I imagine after so many years of doing that, it comes naturally.
DeleteIf it's serious I can keep a secret. But if it's a surprise party or something like that I sometimes slip up.
ReplyDeleteI hope you don't slip up to the person the party is for 😊
DeleteI don't really want to hear anything that has to be a secret! But I do try to share "news" appropriately, which sometimes means not sharing.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's best not to know anything! Ignorance is bliss 😊
DeleteGood to have those SNORTS back!!
ReplyDeleteI am good at keeping a secret unless it is having a detrimental effect on someone else.

What secret?
ReplyDelete😀
DeleteI've become much better at it - yeah. As a therapist, I have to hold lots of secrets. Some people confide in me stuff that I SO wish they wouldn't.
ReplyDeleteI can just imagine what you hear, Robyn! Keeping some secrets that you don't even want to know about can be very stressful.
DeleteNo way. Especially not with good things that I am eager to tell about like when my niece was pregnant. :)
ReplyDeleteHAHA! That's cute. But it would be hard to keep such happy news a secret :)
