Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, everyone! I hope your week is off to a good start. How are you all doing? What have you been up to? What's December been like so far?

Yesterday we started off the morning by meeting up with a bunch of friends for breakfast. The food was really good and the company even better. And then we met up with more friends in the afternoon for coffee and chitchat. It was a very full day. But because Saturday was very quiet, our batteries were full and we were prepared for the hectic pace of yesterday. It was a nice weekend.

And now, let's add some humour to this day to make sure it's a good one. Enjoy!

  3. Those are so funny! I love the Grinch one, SO TRUE!!! :) Glad you have a great time with friends. My gosh, I haven't been out for breakfast in ages...I don't even eat breakfast anymore, I usually make it only on Christmas, but once in a while I make a big old greasy spoon plate for us and we usually have to skip supper!!

    1. We hardly ever go out for breakfast. Sometimes it's fun getting together with friends or family, but I always check the menu for smaller meals. I don't have a big appetite in the morning. A bowl of cereal of oatmeal is more than enough.

  7. Today's favourite is the "last thing a Christmas ornament sees" but they are all excellent! It sounds like you're finding a balanced way to enjoy the season but not go nuts, Martha - kudos to you.
