Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, friends! How are you all doing? How was your weekend? What's new with you? I haven't posted for a whole week and I think that's how it's going to be for a while. This is the time of year when I'm more or less in hibernation mode. I don't have much to say and not much desire to say anything either. I thought about taking a break from blogging but I don't mind sharing some funny stuff each Monday. So once a week I will attempt to make you laugh and the rest of the week I'll post if and when I'm up to it. Or not post at all.

Now let's get to this week's laughs!

Have a good one.

  2. The church would have killed me several times over. They would do it today if they could legally get by with it.

  3. All of these are funny but the shower one made me laugh out loud - I've had that thought! The snow swimmer and tent funnies were excellent as well. I so enjoy your Monday funnies - thank you. I hope your hibernation doesn't end up being too long. Here's to an early spring :)

    1. I've had that thought, too! When I saw this image I was laughing out loud. Can you imagine something like that happening? LOL

I do hope we have an early spring. That would be great!

    2. It used to be mine as well but that was when I lived on the east coast, where they actually had spring. There is no spring here. Only mud. No spring. But the Autumns are WONDERFUL and that's another one I love just as much. But really, when I think about it, I love all the seasons for different reasons. Like today, snow day. I have two brand new shovels to play with. Hot dog! Life is good.

    3. Our spring is often a crapshoot. Sometimes it's the best season of all, sometimes it's awful. Same with autumn, which can be beautiful or just cold and damp.

  9. wow they're all funny - ...love it! I'm glad you are at least going to post once a week. Hope your hibernating week goes well. We are kind of hibernating because of the weather and i have to stick to my commitment of 365 sketches...what the heck was I thinking. I'm pretty sure I was having a couple glasses of wine when I made that commitment for new years.

    1. I do admire your commitment, Sandy! It does take effort but imagine how many beautiful images you'll create by the end of the year.

  10. Hi, Martha! I always enjoy your funnies! Someone clever saw a relationship map in the Facebook emojis. I wish I had that kind of mind. We've been hibernating the last few days, because we had a snowstorm and it is cold outside. Enjoy your down time!

    1. I never noticed that on Facebook either, Louise! I thought it was hilarious.

We haven't had a really bad snowstorm yet this winter. I hope we don't get one but that's wishful thinking. Eventually it will find us :)

  11. Heh. That first one is actually pretty deep.

To turn it around, if you're living today (unless you're a Fred Phelps follower or something), you're probably a person the Church 400 years ago would have killed.

The last one is my favourite today.

This time of year quite often calls for hibernation - take care.

    All the best Jan

  14. Great funnies Martha :) Yes...my grandfather had me convinced that he walked miles and miles in 50 foot snow drifts to school every day. LOL...I feel the same as you do lately. Hibernation, hermitting (is that a verb??) and not much to share! But that's usually how I am every winter! We're just hanging out with each other, sleeping a lot, pet care and eating well! And I'm starting the real estate research every day now, it's so exciting. :)
