Happy last Monday of February, everyone! How are you all doing? How is your weather? Ours has been up and down and all around. I can't tell you how pleased I'll be when this month, which turned out to have one too many crappy days, is finally over. March can be a little unpredictable at times but it does bring spring with it, so it's welcome because of that.

Our weekend was very quiet. Aside from braving rain which turned to snow and high winds to have a coffee at the nearby coffee shop yesterday evening, we decided to cozy up at home. Sometimes a little hibernation is exactly what is needed.

Happy new week, friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you all had a great weekend. Share whatever you'd like in the comments. It's fun hearing from you.

We went out to dinner on Saturday with a couple of friends who are also neighbours. We had a wonderful time and look forward to getting together again. And yesterday was the group meetup at the local metaphysical store. All in all a terrific weekend.

Today it's all about cleaning the house, which has one too many dust bunnies. Not something I'm looking forward to but something that has to get done.

Our weekend included a trip to Ottawa to watch my younger daughter play with her band and then go out with her and her boyfriend for dinner afterwards. She not only picked up the tab for all of us but she also brought me a gift for my birthday, which is today. She is doing wonderfully and I am bursting with pride!

Happy Monday, everyone, and happy February! How are you all doing? What have you been up to? How is your weather? It's warmed up in our little city but we're now dealing with freezing rain. The absolute worst! Hopefully all this crazy weather clears up soon. On the plus side, we are closer to the end of winter. I can finally say: "next month it's spring". So there's that. We have to stay optimistic, no?
