Chuckles and Chortles

Happy last Monday of February, everyone! How are you all doing? How is your weather? Ours has been up and down and all around. I can't tell you how pleased I'll be when this month, which turned out to have one too many crappy days, is finally over. March can be a little unpredictable at times but it does bring spring with it, so it's welcome because of that.

Our weekend was very quiet. Aside from braving rain which turned to snow and high winds to have a coffee at the nearby coffee shop yesterday evening, we decided to cozy up at home. Sometimes a little hibernation is exactly what is needed.

Anyhow, I hope your weather was better and so was your weekend! Here is this week's funny stuff. Enjoy and have a great day ahead.

  2. Loved the introvert one :) I can appreciate the look on his face. We had unseasonably cold weather last week and lots of rain. Where we used to live in Prescott, Arizona, they got 31 inches of snow from the storm. I can't imagine! And I'm glad we weren't living there! We went to an Italian Festival yesterday and it was super crowded. The day was very pleasant though. I think everyone was just glad to be outside in more normal temperatures and were taking advantage of it. It was nice though.

    1. 31 inches of snow! That is massive. I didn't think a place that far south would get that much snow. I'll be happy when all this winter nonsense is over and down with!

  4. Oh man I know the grocery man's feeling -- so many times I can carry a hundred bucks' worth of stuff out of the grocery store in two bags . . . I'm going to request an armed guard next time :)

Love the Dalmatians and the round-eyed kitty too! Thanks, Martha :)

I had a very quiet weekend, in part to recover from last week when my mother had a drama-filled hospital stay. Her normal forgetfulness and difficulty in processing got even worse - mix confusion with medication and it's not a good situation. She is doing better now, so onward and upward, I guess :)

    1. I'm glad to hear that your mother is doing better but I can imagine how stressful it must've been while all the hospital stuff was going on! It's so difficult now that the parents are really getting on in years. I've noticed my mother repeating herself lately. I'm not sure if it's something to be really concerned about yet but I'll pay attention just in case.

Hey...do you know what chickens say when they go to the library?

I told my co workers that yesterday at work, and they HOWLED with laughter. It is because I have such great timing with a joke, I am sure! LOL. Sure felt good to make people laugh. This is what it must be like for you with your Monday jokes. Love them. Take care, dear Martha.
