Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday Tuesday, blogging friends! I'm a day late for the weekly funny stuff but it happens sometimes. Yesterday got completely away from me and I didn't get a chance to sit down and put a post together. Ah well, here I am today.

What are you all up to? Anything to share? Do so below in the comments. I love hearing from you.

Tomorrow our cedars get planted around our corner lot. YIPPEE!!! The company that's doing the work was supposed to come next month but they moved us up a few weeks. No complaints on our end. The sooner we create our private sanctuary and keep the buttinskis at bay, the better.

Nothing else to report, so let's get right to the chuckles and chortles. Enjoy and have a great day ahead.

  1. Thanks for the chuckles, the long weekend could have been less cold breezy around here.

  4. LOL!! Love the ice cream cursing and the Superman kleenex box - and Debra's comment!

Your cedars will make an instant difference, no matter what size they are. The illusion of a hedge is as good as a full-grown one :) How exciting to get it done earlier than expected!

    1. That is exactly how it turned out! The cedars are young and small, but already I see the difference. It feels like we have more privacy despite us not really being there yet. I'll settle for it being an illusion for now!

  14. I feel so much better now. I've been getting much more exercise in than I thought, because I think I've been shaking my head in disbelief constantly in recent days. Great funnies, Martha, each and every one! Good luck with your new cedars. May they grow into a beautiful privacy screen! Hugs to you!

    1. It took me a while with the Pez, too! LOL

Our cedars are still a little small for privacy but at least we're heading in the right direction. And it's creating an illusion of privacy already, so it's a start!
