Chuckles and Chortles

Happy new week, blogging pals! How are you all doing? How was the weekend? Did you do anything special? See anyone? Go anywhere? Watch anything? Inquiring minds want to know, so share, share, share below. Hey, that rhymed. Look at me, the poet. *snort*

I met up with three girlfriends yesterday in the small city of Vaudreuil, which is about a 40 minute drive from my home. I drove over in piss-pouring rain, which I wouldn't do for just anyone, but these women are very special to me. We all met before the age of 14, a few of us way before that and spent our entire teenage years hanging out together and having fun. And so many years later, we're still getting together. And it always amazes me how easy it is to be with people that you go way back with. You share something very special with them.

Today I'm at the food bank volunteering. Yes, I'm still there. Last month I celebrated one year with them. I don't have plans to stop any time soon. I'm really enjoying it there.

Now let's get to the funny stuff, which is why you're really here. Amiright? Yeah...

Helloooooo… Anybody out there? ……... There you are!

Happy Monday, blogging pals! Oh my gosh, I have missed you all so much. I had planned to come back to this site a few weeks ago but I just wasn't ready. In a way I'm still not but I enjoy keeping in touch with all of you. I will confess that during my absence, I did snoop around your blogs to see how you're doing and what you're up to.

Nothing particularly exciting to report on my end. We had a very laid back summer, we got some work done around the house with the most important being a new roof on our home and everyone is doing fine. I'll share more stuff as the weeks go by if it's worth sharing.

But for  now, I will keep it short and get to the reason you'll all here...the humour! I bet you all missed that, no? So let's get right to it.

Hello my beautiful blogging friends! I have missed all of you so much and I'm slowly making my way back into the blogging world. I was going to get this blog up and running today, but because it's Thanksgiving in Canada, I decided to wait one more week. So please stay tuned...I'll be up and running before you know it!
