Chuckles and Chortles

Helloooooo… Anybody out there? ……... There you are!

Happy Monday, blogging pals! Oh my gosh, I have missed you all so much. I had planned to come back to this site a few weeks ago but I just wasn't ready. In a way I'm still not but I enjoy keeping in touch with all of you. I will confess that during my absence, I did snoop around your blogs to see how you're doing and what you're up to.

Nothing particularly exciting to report on my end. We had a very laid back summer, we got some work done around the house with the most important being a new roof on our home and everyone is doing fine. I'll share more stuff as the weeks go by if it's worth sharing.

But for  now, I will keep it short and get to the reason you'll all here...the humour! I bet you all missed that, no? So let's get right to it.

Enjoy and have an amazing day ahead!

  5. Welcome back! I noticed Miniaturopolis was back last week.

Glad to see that witches are keeping up with modern times.

If the Grim Reaper wants to improve his image, he should lose the scythe and replace it with something equally deadly but less intimidating -- like a kitten.

  9. I've missed these cartoons..good choices for today . A new roof is always a noisy undertaking ...I lived through that once and still remember the huge pile growing higher and higher of wood shingles as they were replaced with more up todate roofing material. We had a big house so this mountain of shingles grew and grew and we had a wedding planned in the yard two weeks from the time the pile was growing. It all got taken away, whew! And the bride was happy. Sounds like you had a good summer.

  12. I'm so glad you're back, Martha, and not just because of the funnies :)

These are, however, excellent - so much so that I can't pick a favourite today! I love them all!

My husband re-roofed our house a couple of years ago. Very noisy! But good to get it done.

  21. Next time I'm constipated I'll have to remember that natural remedy. I'm sure I'll have no problem getting hoards of volunteers who'll gladly line up to scare the crap out of me.
