Happy Tuesday, dear friends! How is everyone? I didn't want to post funny stuff yesterday because it was Remembrance Day, so I moved the silliness a day forward. Seemed like the right thing to do.
You know what we got tons of? Snow. Lots and lots and lots of snow. It started yesterday afternoon while I was at the food bank, and by the time I finished there and headed for home, winter had struck. Being in denial, despite the news that a big dump of snow was on the way, I had left home with a light winter jacket and running shoes on my feet. Thankfully the jacket was waterproof and I had had the good sense to bring a pair of gloves along (a flimsy pair, but still). Or else I would have been in worse shape after cleaning the snow off the car! Oh well, lesson learned. Sometimes the weather forecast is correct.
And you? What's going on there? Snow? Rain? Sunshine? Cold? Warm? Do tell... And enjoy these funny images while you're at it.
Have a good one!
My fave is the air dancers one, LOL! We've got snow here too but it's only -2 this morning so that's a bonus.
ReplyDeleteThat's not too bad. We have snow and freezing temperatures. It feels more like January or February. Bleh!
DeleteWow, you guys really are getting a touch of the arctic blast that they are talking about here in the States. It was 86 degrees yesterday, 82 today, but remember how miserably hot summer is for us.
ReplyDeleteLoved the untold story. Seems right that a cat was involved with Humpty Dumpty!
Stay warm!
betty
This weather is much too early. I hope it's just temporary. Or else it's going to be a very long winter!
DeleteGood to have your funnies back, Martha! Thanks for finding and sharing them.
ReplyDeleteI've done that thing where I tried to outfox the weather with flimsy clothes, too. Sometimes it works, but when it doesn't it's a pain! lol
It was wishful thinking on my part. Mother Nature won! LOL
DeleteThanks for the laughs! I did my first shovelling this morning!
ReplyDeleteSeems early, doesn't it? I was hoping we wouldn't get snow until close to Christmas.
DeleteI'd love to have one of those "donny" machines lol!!! Very funny! Oh Martha, it's freaking snowing non stop, it's unheard of for November, but what can you do? LOL at your running shoes...I already have the snow pants out!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI know!!!! We've had more snow since I wrote this post. I really hoped November would be a warmer, snow-free month. But I still haven't figured out how to control the weather! HAHA
DeleteBest invention since the printing press.
ReplyDeleteTrue!
DeleteThank you for the giggles, Martha. Always good to see. Funny "untold story."
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed!
DeleteOh that sounds tough dear Martha ,this was wise of you to take along gloves atleast
ReplyDeletehere we are having mix bundle of beautiful weather ,sunshine plus clouds floating with cool breeze :)
i hope you are enjoying the new curve of season as well
haha enjoyed the all funnies ,hilarious as always specially the second one reminded me how to keep children quite lol
wishing you more blessings ahead
I don't mind the snow as long as it comes later in the year! It is early. And it's very cold. It makes it very tiring. But we will deal with it. I'm used to winters by now.
DeleteI'm glad you enjoyed the funny stuff. Laughing is good for us!
Untold Story...LOL...Have a wonderful day and stay warm!
ReplyDeleteThanks. Hope you're doing well!
DeleteLove the radiologist one.
ReplyDeleteDebra's post today is similar. I just slipped and thanked you on her post.
So I'll say thanks to Debra and you here, for the cat (true) humor.
Cheers.
HAHAHA! You make me smile, Robyn!

ReplyDeleteOkay :)
DeleteMany thanks for the laughs :)
ReplyDeleteNo snow for us but plenty of rain, in fact flooding in some areas of the UK!!!
Enjoy the rest of your week …
All the best Jan
Oh, that sounds awful, Jan! Flooding is not something anyone wants to go through.
DeletePoor Donny! lol
ReplyDeleteFreezing here with the windchill. All of a sudden it's winter!
Donny will need therapy later in life!
DeleteWinter is in a hurry to get here this year.
hahahahah o h god love them all! dancing naked in front or car dealerships, lolol
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed, Sandy! :)
DeleteWe were lucky, it snowed, but didn't stick. It got very cold though. Great funnies- especially the 2 cat ones :) Have a great week! XO
ReplyDeleteLucky you! I'm hoping the temperature rises and the snow melts. I don't like it sticking around from so early!
DeleteHey Martha. We've been in winter-mode for a bit here now.
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying the heck out of it.
Just came from outside taking pictures of the Christmas lights in the snow.
So fun. I live where we have a long cold winter, but I dunno. I dig it.
It is really pretty but I prefer it to arrive in December. Seems so fitting around then for the holidays! I wouldn't mind it so much if it wasn't so flippin' cold!
DeleteI'm in Christmas mode already here.
DeleteBut it really can get freakin' cold outside.
Have you been out and about taking pictures?
I took my new Canon out last week. So fun.
Oh my goodness! 47 squirts.........too cute.
ReplyDeleteStay warm lady. Don't quite know how you do it but then you don't have earthquakes and fires like I do. I, quite literally, get my jacket on and get all cranky when it gets below 62°.
I'll take the snow and cold over the earthquakes and fires! That's true. I guess we just like complaining :)
Deletelol of course hilarious oh and yes it's snowing we have snow banks, hi Martha, I'm back with grey hair, it's been a while hilarious as always, missed you girl !
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to hear from you! I'm really happy to see you back. I'm only an hour away, girl, so if you ever want to meet for coffee, I'll drive over :) xo
DeleteMartha, you remind me of Adrienne Barbeau (when she was still young and beautiful, not as she is now obviously).
ReplyDeleteOh, isn't that interesting! No one has ever said that to me before :)
