Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, blogging pals! How are you doing? How was your weekend? What are you up to? We had a very quiet weekend. The weather has not been great and there has been little to no motivation because of that to travel very far. I'll be as pleased as can be when January and February come to an end.

As most of you may  have noticed, my blogging pace has been slow (for a long time). I don't plan to quit because I enjoy visiting your sites and keeping up to date with what goes on with you all, but I'm busy with other things and just don't have the time to add more content to my own. At some point that may change but for now, I will just concentrate on making you laugh every Monday.

And speaking of laughing, I hope the content below accomplishes that. Have a wonderful day ahead!

  1. I'm glad that you plan to keep delivering Monday laughs, Martha! That said, I so hear you. Life is busy, busy. I had a quiet weekend too. Terry is in Vegas with his best buddy, so I had the house to myself. Pure bliss for an introvert like me. I enjoyed the funnies today, particularly the weatherman one. When my class and I were on field trip, we always had other classes and parent volunteers. One teacher always sat in the very back and another in the middle. I was usually at the front because I often organized the trips. Everywhere was noisy, although some of the kiddos fell asleep on the way home because they were wiped out. I loved field trips! I miss them. Have a great week!

    1. Us introverts do enjoy some time to ourselves! I'm glad you got that time to recharge your batteries. I have very fond memories of field trips from my elementary school years. We didn't have that many in high school. Hmm... I never thought about that before. I wonder why that was. Anyway, I'm a week late responding, but I hope you had a lovely week. And I wish you another great one coming up.

  4. What great chuckles today, Martha! I'm grateful you continue to deliver these each week. When I cut back to once a week posting it provided the balance I needed too. And I sometimes post randomly if the spirit moves me, which is fine too.

I snorted at the medical grad robe - how do folks come up with these? Too funny! And that horse! lol

    1. Once a week suits me fine right now. I did enjoy when my blog was more active but the thought of doing that right now stresses me. I don't want to take on more than I can handle. So I'll just visit other blogs and enjoy what they post!

  17. Hello Martha,
I do agree with you about the weather … this time of year it is not always easy to get out and about.
In fact we had a weekend in, but had some family visiting so that made it so enjoyable :)

I always enjoy my visits to both of your blogs so am pleased to read that you will keep blogging.

Hope this week is being a good one for you.
    Take Care

    All the best Jan

PS Nearly forgot to say, thanks for the funnies!
I especially liked the school bus and medical gown ones.

    1. January and February are the months that can make it difficult to get out and about. We're almost done with one and before we know it, March will arrive! I'm so looking forward to that as spring is my favourite season. Thank you for your kind words!

  22. Oh how funny, that judgemental tree frog! The school bus is funny but that is exactly true. Except a lot of those who sat in front were not teacher's pets, just trying to stay away from the psychopaths in the back!Believe me!
