Chuckles and Chortles

Happy new week, bloggers! What's up? Anything going on where you are? We got a lot of snow this weekend. Would you like some of it? Let me know how much and I'll send it express. We honestly don't need it all. But I am grateful that we're not dealing with the amount of snow that my fellow Canadians in Newfoundland have been dealing with. Last I saw in the news, they had gotten more than 76 centimetres (30 inches) in a single day! The armed forces were called in to assist the residents. A reminder that it could be worse.

Now let's get to the funny stuff, shall we? Have a good chuckle and a great day ahead!

Well, sending the military to fight snow is a better purpose than armies are often employed for. I trust that they fought in accordance with the Geneva Convention and that snowmen who had raised the white flag of surrender were not ruthlessly melted.

That kitten had been on a years-long quest for the evil watermelon that wronged him, and now at last it will face his revenge.

My immediate thought on seeing that last picture was that he didn't take any bathroom breaks during the movie either.

Yes, I thought we'd gotten a fair bit of snow here, but Newfoundland hit the jackpot (not in a good way). I hope they get a break now for awhile!

    Thanks for the smiles, Martha!

Newfoundland got it really bad. We've had snow but nothing like that. Yesterday we had freezing rain. That is the worst of all!

    1. I hear you, Rain! But I always clean my car completely. I was behind a full-sized SUV once that wasn't cleaned thoroughly and the snow was flying off the car and onto my windshield! It was annoying. And can be dangerous for other drivers. So I don't want to be that person who makes people feel that way!
