Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, friends! What's happening with you? How are you keeping busy? Reading anything interesting? Watching anything captivating? Learning something new? Please share in the comments below. We're doing well. Aside from making quick runs to pick up groceries about once a week and trying to get out to do some walking, we're home. Exercise, eating well and staying away from an overload of negative news is a priority for us right now. We typically live this way year round, but it's become even more important at this time.

And you know what else is important these days? Humour! This is something we need to keep us sane. So enjoy the images below. Be well and stay safe!

Chuckles and Chortles

Happy new week, chickadees! How are you all holding up? What's going on where you live? Nothing new to add. It's very quiet around here. Just about everything has shut down. Yesterday evening we stopped in at the market to quickly pick up a few items and I have to say that I was pleased with how much fresh produce there was, not to mention the abundance of canned and packaged goods. What wasn't available, once again, is toilet paper. This type of hoarding no longer surprises me but I still think it's ridiculous. Oh, and two other items I noticed sold out: vitamin C and Tylenol.

Staying put hasn't weighed heavily on us because we're both introverts, but when the weather cooperates, we take walks to exercise and get fresh air. We're planning to drive through the rural areas at some point to hunt down old barns and photograph them. And when it gets really nice, we'll do outdoor work, gardening and even take our bikes for a spin. Other than that, we're keeping busy indoors. What about you? How are you coping?

Anyhow, I'm here to make you all laugh. We need lots of that right now! Stay safe and be well.

Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, blogging pals! I hope you're all doing well, especially with everything that's going on. At least we have the internet to communicate with one another and stay sane. Everything around here that has the potential to bring a lot of people together has shut down or is in the process of shutting down. Even our library has shuts its doors. We've also been advised to socially distance ourselves and stay at home. And our stores are also experiencing the toilet paper madness. Yesterday the most amazing man in the world and I made a quick run to one of our grocery stores to pick up a few items and smiled when we saw all the liquid soap and toilet paper gone. At least we're assured that people will be washing their hands after going to the bathroom! Other items we noticed out of stock: vitamin C, paper towels, Kleenex (all tissues) and bread. Is it the same type of lunacy where you are? Do tell.

Anyhow, I think we could all use a laugh or two, amiright? I'm here to do just that! Enjoy, be well and stay sane. Have a good one!

Chuckles and Chortles

A happy Monday to all of you! How are things? What's new? Share in the comments below.

Today it feels like spring! It's sunny and warm. I can't tell you all how excited it makes me feel. My favourite season is on its way and this weather is a solid reminder of that. Long walks and long bicycle rids are just around the corner. YEAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!

Okay, let's get right to it. Today is food bank day and I need to get my act together. Enjoy the funny images and have a glorious day while you're at it. I'll pop by your blogs later today or tomorrow morning to catch up.

Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday Tuesday, blogging buddies! Yesterday really got away from me, so I never got a chance to share some funny stuff with you. It couldn't be helped. I've been playing catch up with a lot of things the past few days. First, I upgraded my computer and almost all of my software on it, so I was without a computer for a few days. I thought I'd be a little stressed by it but I seemed to manage just fine. It actually gave me an opportunity to get some things done that I'd been putting off. And second, I've been doing spring cleaning and de-cluttering the past couple of weeks, and that alone has kept me very busy. But I'm here now ready to make you laugh! And I'll visit your blogs after this and catch up on that, too.

Please share in the comments what you've been up to. Have a good one!
