Chuckles and Chortles

Here we are again! Happy Monday to all. I hope you're doing well, blogging pals. Nothing has changed around here. We're still social distancing and most places are still closed. And our weather is still not that great. We had a couple of days of sunshine and warm temperatures, so we made sure to take advantage and go out walking. Still waiting for those perfect days to do some gardening and maybe take our bikes out for a spin. They'll get here. In the meantime, we're keeping busy around the house. One of the most enjoyable things I did last week was have a group video chat with three very old and dear friends. We've known each other since our early teens and spent a lot of time together throughout high school. Oh, the memories...some of them crazy fun! We chatted for over two hours and had a blast. I'm really thankful for modern technology to be able to do this.

And what are the most amazing man in the world and I watching? Well, we wrapped up Waco, which we enjoyed, and also started and finished season 2 of After Life, a comedy-drama written by Ricky Gervais who also stars in it. Such a good show! We're now enjoying Life in Pieces (hilarious!) and The Innocence Files, a documentary that focuses on wrongfully convicted people who spent years in prison needlessly. It is difficult to watch. Spending any time at all in jail for something you didn't do is excruciating. Now imagine doing that for 10, 15, 20 or over 30 years! I can't even. It is very heartbreaking learning about these injustices. Anyhow, if you subscribe to Netflix, you may want to give this a go.

That's all for now, folks, Enjoy the humour below and have a beautiful day ahead!

And finally, where are you at these days? Most days I'm number 3 and number 6.

Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday Tuesday, my friends! How is it going? How are you all feeling? How are things where you are? Not much has changed around here. We're still practicing social distancing and most places are shut down. I wanted to post yesterday but I did a quick grocery run, and honestly, I just wasn't in the right head space after that. Food shopping has become a tiresome chore. It has to be planned well, so I don't forget anything, and it has to be executed in a strategic way, so I can be in and out as quickly and efficiently as possible. Aside from the fact that I don't want to be in the store longer than necessary, I'm also mindful of the people waiting in line outside, the same line that I was in before I got a chance to do my shopping. It's not just about me. Anyhow, despite it all, I managed to get everything I had on my list, and then some. All the shelves were fully stocked; more than enough for everyone. I'm really grateful for that!

What are we watching? Well, we are coming to the end of the series 'You', which was more enjoyable than I expected. And we're on the last episode of 'Freud', one of the strangest shows I've ever seen, but also very unique and intriguing. Freud is displayed as a coke addict, which surprised me, but my husband says he really was into that drug. I didn't know since I don't know much about his life, but after looking up information through Professor Google, I found out it's true. The things you learn!

Another show we're watching on Netflix is Waco; a miniseries about the events of the 1993 Waco siege. Very captivating! Oh, and we just finished watching 'The Ten Commandments. I don't know how many times we've seen this movie but it just never gets old. A classic. Have you seen it?

Okay, that's more than enough blah, blah, blah... Let's get to the funny stuff. Enjoy the giggles and have a great day.

Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, blogging peeps. How are you doing? And what's going on where you are? Are you mixing up the days like I am? I almost forgot about posting my weekly humour because I forgot it's Monday. One day just seems to be blending into the next one lately. Ah well, at least we're keeping busy and staying sane.

We recently finished watching Ozark and Riverdale on Netflix, and we're now zipping through two other shows: Freud (thriller/crime series) and You (psychological thriller). They're okay, so far. We had considered starting The Walking Dead series but decided against it for now. Has anyone seen it? What do you think about it? And what else can you recommend on Netflix that is worth trying? Please share in the comments.

Enjoy the funny stuff below, and keep well!

Chuckles and Chortles

Another week rolls in! How are all my blogging pals doing? What's going on with you? And what's happening where you are? Obviously it's very quiet around here, so there are no adventures to report. But...we have been getting some nice weather, which is wonderful for our walks. We usually take a stroll after lunch or after supper. We see a few people here and there taking walks, especially the ones that have dogs, but for the most part it's eerily quiet, particularly in the evenings.

In personal news, both my girls are doing well and both are working from home. And I had a video chat with the younger one on Saturday night and that was heartwarming. She even showed me around her and her boyfriend's new apartment that they moved into at the end of February. The most amazing man in the world and I were planning to visit and see it in person, but then this pandemic decided "uh..nope.....that's not happening any time soon", so a virtual tour was the next best thing. Thank goodness for all this modern technology!

Not much else to say. Share your news below about what it's been like for you. And enjoy the funny images below. Have a good one, all. Be well and stay safe!
