Happy Monday, blogging peeps. How are you doing? And what's going on where you are? Are you mixing up the days like I am? I almost forgot about posting my weekly humour because I forgot it's Monday. One day just seems to be blending into the next one lately. Ah well, at least we're keeping busy and staying sane.
We recently finished watching Ozark and Riverdale on Netflix, and we're now zipping through two other shows: Freud (thriller/crime series) and You (psychological thriller). They're okay, so far. We had considered starting The Walking Dead series but decided against it for now. Has anyone seen it? What do you think about it? And what else can you recommend on Netflix that is worth trying? Please share in the comments.
Enjoy the funny stuff below, and keep well!
Thanks for the laughs Martha! The days are sure very quiet. We were watching the Raptors Rewind, of the 2019 season but the finale was last night.
ReplyDeleteIt seems weird, doesn't it? It's like the world has shut been paused.
DeleteHa ha, those TP earrings, the sideways virus, and "human, you o.k.?" According to the internet, the most outrageously popular series on Netflix right now is "Tiger King." It's one of those things you have to see to believe, apparently.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter recommended it, but she also warned that I might not be comfortable with some of the animal scenes. Not sure if I'm up to it yet!
DeleteGreat collection of funnies. Love the cat in line :) I know what you mean about days running together. Have a nice week and stay healthy. XO
ReplyDeleteAnd you! We're mostly home, so we're always safe. xo
DeleteWe just got rid of Netflix but a show I love is NAILED IT! Tim too.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of it. I'm curious. I'll have to google it :)
DeleteTim and I enjoy the silliness of it.
DeleteDo they actually have these earrings for sale?
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing they don't. Probably just something made up. It would be hilarious if they actually exist.
DeleteWe just started watching Ozark - love it and hate it (it makes me anxious!) and as Debra, above, suggests - if you want to feel very, very ordinary, watched Tiger King. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean! It's a great show but it also makes you very tense. We have finished the entire series and I look forward to more of it. Hopefully there'll be more episodes ahead.
Deletethere are going to be many funny hair cuts before long including me!
ReplyDeleteThat is the truth!
DeleteHilarious collection, Martha - I love the sideways virus and the parent hairdressers - so funny!
ReplyDeleteThe only thing from TV land I've watched in the last five years is Schitt's Creek, but I think you already watched that ..? I'm going to have to find a new show. One episode a week is all I need.
Oh my gosh, yes! We loved Schitt's Creek! I wish that it just kept going but unfortunately it's come to an end.
DeleteLOL with the cat waiting in line :) It is an adventure trying to grocery shop. People still don't get the idea of staying at least 6 feet away; at least here they don't :)
ReplyDeletebetty
No kidding, Betty! It truly is an adventure going grocery shopping. Some people here don't understand the arrows on the ground in the stores and just wander around everywhere. It's truly not rocket science and yet... :)
DeleteI'm glad that the virus can't move sideways too, LOL! If I saw a bear looking in my window like that I'd be totally freaked! We just got Netflicks thanks to Terry's sister adding us to her account. We're watching "Schitts Creek" which is hysterical. I don't think I could handle "The Walking Dead." Al the best to you, George, and your family!
ReplyDeleteRight, Louise? As long as it's not moving sideways...hahaha
DeleteWe LOVED Schitts Creek! One of our favourites. I'm not sure we'll get to The Walking Dead. I've been putting it off for a very long time. I want to see it just out of curiosity, to see what they hype was all about. But I'm not in a rush. There are so many other shows I'd rather see.
Be well! Stay safe!
Happy Monday dear Martha :)
ReplyDeletenice that all is well at your corner ,we finished Freud few weeks back ,i found it mighty due to it was about real person who introduced psychological theory about unconsciousness (one of my favorite topic)
we are in the middle of money heist ,nicely written and done
haha i loved these funnies each made me smile :)
stay well and healthy my dear friend!
We are on our last episode of Freud, which we'll probably watch tomorrow. It is such a unique - and strange - series! I've noticed Money Heist but we haven't seen it. I'll have to check that out.
DeleteBe well and safe!
Can't forget what day it is -- I'm still working regular hours, just doing it at home. So it's not like a vacation, but you can't beat the short commute.
ReplyDeleteI guess cats understand viruses better than the people who run that store with the ATMs do.
And it's fortunate, too, that you're still working! So many out of a job.
DeleteI think cats would do a better job than most humans :)
Return of the bowlcut.
ReplyDeleteIndeed! HAHAHA
DeleteSo funny! Grocery shopping like Pac Man. So true!
ReplyDeleteStay well, Martha! xx
Don't you just love that one? Took me back to my youth. Not that I liked that game. Used to drive me nuts!
DeleteWhere on earth do you find these ! LOL .. I always have a laugh over something .. we actually commented on kid's haircuts a couple of days ago for some reason (Ian received one from his father when he had chickenpox and it was hysterical .. he still jabs his father about it and that was decades ago !) .. There is a series called "Killing Eve" Sandra Oh is a main character and she is great along with the Brit actress Jodi Comer .. dark humour and very twisty .. it is in it's 3rd season now.
ReplyDeleteI think we've all had some experience with bad haircuts. Either we're inflicted them on others or they've been inflicted on us :) Killing Eve sounds like something my husband would enjoy. He likes dark humour!
DeleteThanks, Martha. Love the 2020 commemorative jewelry. And the bear picture is great. Have a good while maintaining distance and staying home.
ReplyDeleteAlways fun to share with all of you! We could all use a laugh, especially these days! Be well and safe!
DeleteThat last one makes me giggle, perhaps because it looks like all my class photos.
ReplyDeleteBe well, Martha.
And you, Robyn! (We all have those...'unusual'...class photos :)
Deletechuckling all the way through this - especially pac man!
ReplyDeleteLaughter certainly helps in these strange times … great selection here Martha.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
