Happy new week, everyone! And Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadians. I hope you've all been enjoying a lovely weekend; a long one for some of us. We've been blessed with some really lovely weather the past few days and today is no different. It's a little on the cool side but wonderfully sunny. At night it gets very cold and we've had to turn on the heat to get rid of the chill and the dampness, but during the day it is spectacular. The most amazing man in the world and I have been bundling up in the evening to take long walks after supper. Is it ever enjoyable! That crisp air is so refreshing and invigorating.
There isn't all that much going on. We've been sticking close to home because the two major cities nearby have had a large increase in COVID cases, which has led to more restrictions. So no visiting anyone we know there or driving into those areas to spend the day. That will just have to wait.
That's it for now. I wish you all a wonderful day and a terrific week ahead. Enjoy the humour below!
(Oh, I also wanted to mention that for a few days last week, I had trouble leaving comments on some of your blogs. Did anyone else experience this? It seems to be okay now.)
Thanks for the laughs.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteThese are all so funny, thanks for the laughs!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed!
DeleteLove all the funnies. "Virtual meetings are mainly seances"...lol..
ReplyDeleteYour weather sounds like ours right now. In fact i can't wait to get out and walk in it later.
Glad u are enjoying the season.
I haven't been following our Covid cases but we don't go down into a large population area often - usually stay near our small towns up here.
Glad you enjoyed, Sandy. Our weather has been up and down, and here and there. Sometimes it's spring, sometimes it feels like winter! But as long as the snow doesn't arrive yet, I'm good.
DeleteI didn't have any trouble commenting. Thanks for the laughs!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! I'm still having a little trouble some days. Not sure what the problem is.
DeleteThe virtual meeting hit the nail on the head. Sometimes things can get pretty funny on them.
ReplyDeleteA whole new way of doing things!
DeleteI just found this and will probably use it as a post. But I thought you might like to see it first. https://neurosciencenews.com/eye-narrowing-cat-relationship-17155/
ReplyDeleteI'll check it out. Thanks!
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you and your family Martha! Glad the weather has been pleasant for you to enjoy outdoor walks! Refreshing for the soul I think! All great cartoons this week!

I'm glad you enjoyed, Betty! I hope you've had a lovely week.
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving! As usual, you find the BEST lols. Although I DID feel a little bad laughing at that first one. And of course, I stole a couple.
ReplyDeleteBlogger HQ enforces "comment verification" every once in a while on blogs and that may have accounted for your difficulty commenting last week. There seems to be no rhyme or reason for when that happens.
That first one is hilarious! And steal away, Debra. I do it all the time...shamelessly :)
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving. These are great, the last 2 really cracked me up. Have a nice week and stay healthy. XO
ReplyDeleteThank you! I hope your week has been a really good one! xo
DeleteIs that a Kat-ren?
ReplyDeleteOf course Pluto is a planet. It has to be. It's got a Sailor Senshi named after it.
HAHA... That was my thought, too. It does indeed look like a Kat-ren!
DeleteAll of the cats are hilarious, especially the one about sitting on a candle. Happy Thanksgiving to my beloved Canadian friends.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Cats are keeping us all entertained these days! They act sophisticated but deep down they are as goofy as the rest of us!
DeleteCovid is certainly making us live a different life. Be safe. Stay healthy.
ReplyDeleteIt really is. I'm so curious to see what it'll be like a year from now. Hopefully much better!
DeleteThese are so great, Martha! thank you!
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome!
DeleteLOVE that 'elevator' one!! Hits home I am ashamed to say.....don't tell anyone!! lol
ReplyDeleteWe too enjoy our evening/dusk walks......very invigorating and a great way to cap off the day.
Have a good week, Martha.
I won't tell, Jim :)
DeleteEvening walks are indeed a great way to cap off the day!
These were all pretty funny but the last 2 really made me laugh.
