Chuckles and Chortles

Here we are again, blogging friends! How is everyone doing? What are you up to these days? Not much on our end. We're still on lockdown, which has been much easier the past few days with all the cold and snow that has come our way. I'm honestly happy to be home, cozy and comfortable, although I'm looking forward to milder weather for some lengthy walks. This past week we've been enjoying the series "Fargo" on Netflix. Anyone watching (or watched) this? It's not too bad. Far better than I expected.

Well now... I was going to ask if you've run across the Bernie Sanders memes. I'm sure most of you have. I am loving them! They are a lot of fun, and you couldn't have chosen a nicer person for this. I ran across the  image below the day before and I had to share it. It had me in stitches! My Canadian friends (the older ones like me) will appreciate and probably get a kick out of it.

My rant this week comes in the form of an image, which pretty much summarizes how I feel:

Now let's get to the funny stuff, so we can all get on with our lives! Happy Monday and happy new week. Enjoy!

Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, blogging pals! I didn't post last week because I had absolutely no motivation to do so. But I'm back! How is everyone doing? What's going on with you? We're just trying to pass the time. We're in another lockdown, which will last for about four weeks. Everything, aside from essential services, has shut down, and we're advised to stay home.

Not much else to add, so let's get to the funny stuff. Have a good laugh and make sure to have a good day, too!

Chuckles and Chortles

Happy first Monday of 2021, my friends! How is everyone? Are you happy to be done with 2020? I know I am. It's been pretty much a write off. Here's hoping for a much better year ahead, at least the latter part of it.

We had a very quiet holiday season. Aside from some phone calls and video chats, the most amazing man in the world and I had a solo celebration. My younger daughter and her boyfriend did drive down from Ottawa to personally deliver some gifts to us a few days after Christmas but we only met outside for a few minutes before they headed off to their next destination. I thought it was really sweet the way the two of them were playing Santa with friends and family. I loved seeing them, even if it was for a short time, and I look forward to when we can get together for extended periods.

Other than that, I've got nothing. We're in a lockdown and the majority of businesses are closed, so we just pick up essentials and scurry back to the nest. When we're fortunate enough to have nice weather, we go for walks. What about you? What's going on where you are?

While you think about it, here's some funny stuff to start the week off on the right foot. Hope they make you smile! Have a wonderful week ahead. Stay safe and be well.

YES! Yes I do wish.
