Happy new week, everyone! I'm back. I missed last week's post. The week got away from me and I just never got around to it. But here I am to make you all smile again! What would you do without me?
How are you all doing. What are you up to? What's going on in your part of the world? Pretty quiet on our end, which I'm grateful for. We've been watching the series Atypical for the past little while and we're really enjoying it. Has anyone seen it? Share you news in the comments and tell me what's happening on your end.
Nothing else to report at this time, so I'll get right to the funny stuff. Enjoy, blogging pals, and have a wonderful week ahead!
I love them all, Martha! You have such a good sense of humour!
ReplyDeleteGotta keep that sense of humour going, Debra, especially during this crazy period!
DeleteFunny stuff for sure, Martha! This with my morning cup of coffee is a great start for a Monday morning.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed, Louise! We all need a good laugh from time to time.
DeleteLove them all but especially the Wheel of Fortune one!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed, Linda!
DeleteWell, that's a valid IQ test.
ReplyDeleteThe ark must have taken more than two of some things, to keep the carnivores fed for 150 days or whatever it was, without losing lots of species in the process.
Definitely! Some critical thinking will surely come to that conclusion!
DeleteIf the ark thing actually happened, inbreeding would have killed the entire land population
ReplyDeleteFor sure, Adam. Totally agree!
DeleteMartha, thanks for the laughs. I thought the Mother Wrench was priceless. I have seen computer scams asking for your credit card number, so those that enter fail the IQ test.
ReplyDeleteAlways a pleasure! I'm glad you enjoyed.
DeleteThese are excellent, Martha, especially Mother Wrench and the poor dog who wants to solve the puzzle. I know Franklin would think he knew the answer. Did you find something you felt like reading? I'm about 1/3 of the way through Still Life With Breadcrumbs by Anna Quindlen. I like her books. I've also started The Queen's Gambit by Walter Tevis. I'd never heard of the book, but I loved the series on Netflix so when I found out it was based on a book, I had to read it. I have Atypical in My List on Netflix and I'm sure I'll start to watch it soon.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
I'm trying different books, Janie. I have a lot of books waiting to be read, so I have plenty to choose from! But nothing seems to be sticking. Not sure what I need at this time. Maybe I have burned myself out and I should consider taking a break. Hmm... We watched The Queen's Gambit and really enjoyed it. We just finished Atypical and I highly recommend it. It was very enjoyable. I've read a few of Anna Quindlen's novels but not that one. I wonder if I have something of hers on one of my bookshelves. I should check!
DeleteThanks for the laughs Martha!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Christine!
DeleteI missed you last week. I have not seen Atypical, but we re enjoying Travelers which I think you had recommended. Great funnies-love the wrenches. :) Have a wonderful week. XO
ReplyDeleteTravelers was great! I'm glad you tried it. I just wish they had made it a little longer. I hope you had a lovely weekend. xo
DeleteLOL, esp the guy with the IQ test entering his credit card info...Have a happy week!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed. And I hope you've had a wonderful weekend!
DeleteThat ark's hopping. Cute stuff, Martha.
ReplyDeleteBe well.
And you, Robyn! Hope you had a really great weekend.
DeleteIt's been very hot so I do yard work in the morning and stay in for the afternoon. BORING!
ReplyDeleteI know that feeling! It's been hot and humid around here, too.
DeleteLOVED 'Atypical'!!
ReplyDeleteVery humid here in the Maritimes......not getting much done.
Mother Wrench is GOOD! lol
Have a good week, Martha.
Mother Wrench! HAHAHAHA Well, she's the same way here. Hot and humid! I'm looking forward to cooler weather, Jim. We just finished 'Atypical' and loved it, as well!
DeleteLOL. Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteI hope it was a good one for you!
DeleteMartha -- not sure whether you read Kay's blog (in Hawaii)? She has a post about fixing headers:
ReplyDeletehttps://travelerswife.blogspot.com/2021/07/do-not-call-list-and-how-to-fix-your.html
I'm not tech-savvy enough to know if it would help your missing-header problem, but I thought I'd mention it.
(Feel free to delete this comment in moderation -- it's just a message. I tried to use your "contact me" form but it said my e-mail wasn't valid.)
Oh, thanks for that link! I'm very comfortable with tech stuff, so I'll check that out. If I can fix it, I will. Appreciate it!
DeleteDon't the weeks go quickly!
ReplyDeleteWe've had some very warm sunny days here in the UK.
Great collection of funnies you've shared here.
Thank you.
Have a great week.
All the best Jan
I'm glad you enjoyed, Jan! I hope you had a lovely weekend.
DeleteHa - laughing about that IQ Test and picking your teams.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed!
DeleteHaha yes what would we all do without your weekly jokes and memes! Thanks for the laughs again!
ReplyDeleteAlways a pleasure! Without humour, we'd all go mad at some point! LOL
DeleteHEE HEE HEE HEE...these were especially funny. The IQ one got me laughing. One time Alex was trying to act smart and he said he had an IQ of 3500, I think he would have put in his credit card number lol...the wrench one, all I could hear was the late and great Steve Irwin's voice! I don't know what I'D do without you Martha!! :)
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA! That comment with Alex is hilarious. With an IQ like that, his head would explode! LOL I feel the same, Rain. I'm so thankful for you! xo
Deletehaha the cat one and last one had me most
