Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, everyone! And happy April! I wish you all an amazing month ahead. Let's hope it's a good one. How are you all doing? What's going on and what are you up to? What's keeping you busy and what's holding your attention these days? Share in the comments below and tell me all about it.

It was a busy and productive week. I started my spring cleaning, which will probably go on for a while. I'm tackling one room, one project at a time. I'd like to get all this over and done with, so we can then shift our focus to the outdoors. It won't be long before we're out in the garden, out on our bikes and out on day trips. I'm looking forward to all three!

Saturday night we met up for dinner with my best friend and her husband in Vaudreuil, which is a small city about 40 minutes drive from our home. She and I had recently seen each other but it had been over two years since the four of us got together. What an amazing time we had! Nothing like spending time with people who make you laugh out loud and people who you can totally just be yourself with. Friday night, the most amazing man in the world went to watch a band play with a couple of friends and tonight we are going out for dinner with one of those friends and his partner. I feel like we're all excited to be getting together with people again after such a long time of being apart. It feels good to gather with others in person and catch up.

And that's it for now. I've got a very busy day planned, which will keep me out of trouble! I hope you all have a great week ahead. And I hope you enjoy all the funny images below! Be well, my friends.

    1. It's good to see others, Christine, although we are keeping it low key. Just one couple at a time. But it's still wonderful!

  3. Although restrictions have been lifted here as well, the recommendation is still to mask and keep gatherings limited. It sounds like you're doing all of that but still getting some normalcy back. I love the funnies - the cat watching his person clean the litter box - yes! That's what my cats do. I don't know if they're lording it over me or they're embarrassed but they never lift a paw to help, that's for sure :D Love the guitar picks and the jellyfish launcher. I always have a hard time with graphics being used instead of words - I don't find them intuitive at all!

    1. It's the same here! There are actually quite a few people continuing to wear masks. And we are seeing others but only one couple at a time. Or one friend at a time. We'll see how things go. It's one day at a time right now as we move forward. Fingers crossed that things remain stable.

HAHAH! My cats are the same. they make the mess but refuse to help cleaning it up.

  4. I bet I could cross that field in nine seconds if somebody was chasing me intending to apply the Chinese cure for constipation. Or if I somehow managed to fire myself from the jellyfish launcher, which would undoubtedly happen if I owned that truck.

  5. We are currently cleaning as much as we can which is a struggle because my wife likes to hold onto things for far too long.

We definitely don't want any things little all over the floor as our son will be born in a few months

    1. I'm working on it, Sandy, one room at a time. And I take a few days break in-between. I don't want to be saddled with chores when there's a whole world waiting for me outside! Even if it takes the entire month to get the house in order, I don't care!
