Chuckles and Chortles

Hey, everyone! Happy Monday, happy last day of October, happy Halloween and Samhain blessings. That should just about cover it.
What are you all up to these days? What's keeping you busy? What are you reading, watching, doing, creating...? Busybodies want to know! Our home is keeping us busy, and we'll be installing a new furnace and hot water tank in the next couple of weeks. It's time. Both are getting on in years and we especially don't want the furnace failing during the winter. It can get mighty cold around here during that season.

It's been more or less quiet but we did enjoy a day trip to Ottawa last Tuesday, which is always a treat. We would love to live there but it's just not possible yet. Perhaps in the future, we'll get that done! We also got together with a couple on Saturday night where we shared drinks, laughter and fun. And tonight we'll be going out to dinner with another couple whose company we also enjoy. As introverts, we enjoy these small gatherings with good people.

I've got nothing else to add, so it's time for some funny stuff. Enjoy them and have a wonderful week ahead.

    i hope and pray that your wish to live in your native town may fulfill asap my friend!
    as introvert i can imagine how amazing it feels to have nice company once in a while :)

    I suspect a cat wrenched from its nap to serve as a "ghost shield" would spend the rest of the night inflicting more torments than ten ghosts could aspire to.
