Chuckles and Chortles

Happy new week, blogging pals! I hope November is off to a great start for all of you. What's going on? What have you been up to? What's keeping you busy these days? We've continued to have some pretty amazing weather. I'm not sure how long it will last but we'll enjoy it while we have it. Yesterday we got our new furnace and hot water tank installed! Phew...what a relief. We don't have to worry about either one quitting during the winter. The company that serviced us comes highly recommended by local friends and with good reason. They did a great job and we will certainly recommend it to others. Our two cats were not quite as pleased. They stayed hidden throughout the whole ordeal, a little freaked out by all the different people going in and out of the house...and all the noise NOISE noise! They are happy things are back to normal and so are we. Because we also like things quiet.

I've got a very busy day ahead, so I'm going to get right to the funny stuff. Enjoy them, laugh out loud and have an amazing week ahead.

  1. Hi Martha thanks for stopping by ! .. OMG .. I laughed so much at Emma's take on life at 100 .. we should all be so lucky right ? LOL .. The weather is just not right .. too good to be true , so I think once winter hits it is going to be a monster season. Especially since we see the squirrels stripping what is left of the maple seed wings on our huge tree in the back garden .. that is a real indicator of a hard winter to come. Perfect timing for you guys to have a new furnace/water heater ! ... the Five cat question made me laugh as well they are all good ;-)

    1. This weather is really strange...and somewhat unsettling! I admit that although we are enjoying the warmer weather, it's not normal. I believe you may be right that it's going to be a monster of a season this winter. We couldn't have timed the installation of a new furnace better than this. At least we won't have to worry about the cold. Thanks for popping in. I hope all is well with you!

  5. Nobody should let anyone mess with their cats, not if the poor things are already being traumatized by spectral shaggings.

On the other hand, if ghosts exist, they can see everything we do and we can't see them, so cats would be our only hope to keep them at bay.
