Chuckles and Chortles

Happy new week, everyone! I hope you are all doing well. I want to begin by thanking all of you for your kind messages and well wishes last week. I'm halfway through my medication and on the mend. Next week, after I'm done with all the pills, I hope that this infection is truly gone. Onwards and upwards...

What are you all up to these days? Please share in the comments. We had our first big snowstorm on Friday, so it looks like a Canadian winter outside. But it's not that cold, which I'm grateful for. I actually enjoy having snow on the ground. It brightens up the city, which otherwise looks grey and dull. Still...nothing beats my favourite season of the year: spring! I'm counting down to that.

I have nothing else to add at this time. Absolutely nothing. Zip. Zero. So let's get right to the funny stuff. Have a wonderful week ahead!

Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Tuesday, blogging pals! How are you all doing? What's going on? What are you up to? What is happening in your part of the world? Share in the comments!

I'm a day late posting but that couldn't be helped. Yesterday, we spent over 14 hours at our local hospital's emergency section. I was finally sent home with two prescriptions and a diagnosis of kidney infection. Our hospital is very understaffed and the employees there are under pressure, but despite that, everyone we dealt with was attentive, patient, compassionate and very professional. I cannot say enough good things about them and how grateful I was for their care.

Okay, that's that...

I'm going to keep this short because my one and only plan for today is to do nothing. Nothing at all. I'm going to focus on slacking off. So enjoy the funnies and have an amazing rest of the week! I'll be by to visit your blogs very soon. Be well, everyone!

Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, blogging pals. And happy December, too! We are fast approaching the end of another year. What have you been up to? Not the whole year, just last week! We took a day trip to Montreal and that's always fun. We live in a small city right now but I've got a lot of big city in me. I adore being there and I'm always game to take a drive east to our hometown of Montreal or north to Ottawa. We're fortunate to be living only an hour's drive away from both areas, so getting there is easy.

Last week we watched the first part of season 5 of the series "Vikings". We'd been eagerly waiting for the latest episodes on Netflix and when they finally showed up, we dove right in. I enjoy the story but not the violence. When that's going on, I totally tune out. I turn away and sometimes I even block my ears. I cannot stand watching any type of violence or cruelty, especially when animals are involved! Does anyone else do this? Or are you glued to the scenes?

Anyhow, I've got a very busy day ahead, so let's get right to the funny stuff. I hope the images make you laugh and I wish you all a wonderful week ahead.
