Happy Monday, bloggers! How are you doing, my friends? Did you have a nice weekend? I certainly hope so. Ours was very quiet. And despite spring being here, it still looks like winter. I know it won't be long until the nicer weather arrives but I'm eager for it to get here. I'm looking forward to the tulips making an appearance, which will kick start the gardening season. We have some work planned for our outdoor spaces that I'm excited about. There's still quite a bit of to be done outside but that's fine. It will encourage me to spend time in the garden. And I can't wait to visit garden centers and pick up some more plants. Eventually I'll fill in all the empty spaces in the flower beds.
We're also hoping to squeeze in a vacation or two this year, something that is long overdue! We haven't gotten away since 2015. The only obstacle to taking a trip is finding someone to come in daily to feed and check up on our two cats. We're going to start asking around for recommendations for pet sitters/services and see what comes of it. Once we find a trusted source, we'll be on our way.
Nothing else to add at this time, so let's get to the funny stuff. Have a good laugh and also have a wonderful week ahead!

Chuckles and Chortles
Hey, blogging pals! I hope you're all doing well. Happy spring to those who live where spring has sprung. A mouthful there...try saying that a few times in a row! How are you all doing and what have you been up to? Share in the comments and let me know. I'd love to hear all about it.
It's been forever since I posted but I really needed the break. Remember when I wrote about having a kidney infection way back in December? Well, the kidney infection cleared up after the medication took care of it but other health issues followed. I visited my doctor twice, and the physical examinations that she did and the multiple tests that she ran all came back negative, so the good news is that there was nothing seriously wrong with me. But I continued to have inexplicable symptoms and I wasn't feeling well. My doctor came to the determination that the antibiotics that I had taken, which were very strong, may have brought on side effects. Antibiotics are remarkable at fighting infections, but because they can't distinguish between good and bad bacteria, they can wreak havoc on your healthy bacteria, which causes an imbalance. Apparently, it can take up to six months to recover from damage done by antibitics.
My doctor recommended that I take probiotics to help restore balance. I popped over to the pharmacy and the pharmacist recommended what to take after checking my file to see which antibiotic I had been prescribed. I was skeptical at first, but after several weeks of taking a probiotic every day, exercising regularly, keeping stress levels low and eating food that will help restore my damaged gut health, I am feeling great! My gosh, it worked. I only have about a couple of week's worth of probitics left to take and then it'll be up to me to continue eating and living well. So that's pretty much what was going with me for quite some time. It's been a long and tiring and trying journey, but I'm grateful that things have turned out well.
Now, enough about my troubles. Let's get to the funny stuff because we all could use a laugh from time to time. It's good for our health! Enjoy and have an amazing week.
